Before this class I had a good idea of what proper punctation and grammar looked like. One thing that I have always struggled with is how to cite MLA properly. Although we did some work with citations in high school, I never have been able to cite my sources confidently. One reason I was unable to do this was because different teachers in my classes had different styles of how we wanted to integrate MLA format. Throughout this year of English I have developed a good understanding of how to cite sources correctly within my papers. One way I was able to do this was by using The Little Seagull as a resource. This was one of the most helpful resources I had throughout the semester and helped me a lot with learning how to properly cite sources and set up my paper in MLA format.
