Post Project 1:

The two main weaknesses that I identified in my first draft were the introduction and conclusion. Both of these paragraphs lacked detail because I was unsure about how to tie everything together. In my final draft, I focused mainly on reworking my introduction and conclusion paragraphs. I also added a thesis to the introduction because I didn’t have a concrete thesis in my first draft. Another weakness that was apparent in my first draft were my illustrations. In one paragraph specifically, I had a coyote quote that didn’t tie into the topic sentence well. I went back to our sources and picked a different quote that was well related to my claim.

Peer review for me was very helpful. Not only did reading others paper help to speak new ideas but the peer reviews that I received helped transform my first draft into a strong final draft. Although a teachers perspective is very helpful most times, receiving feedback from classmates who are in your shoes is also very benefiting.

One thing in my final draft that can still be improved upon is my transition sentences. Finding a way to tie all of my ideas together and make the paper flow was very challenging.
